The Ritz-Carlton, Turks and Caicos officially opened its doors on 22 June, marking the debut of the Marriott’s luxury brand in the British Overseas Territory.
“We are thrilled to expand our global portfolio with the debut of The Ritz-Carlton, Turks and Caicos, a destination known for its stunning natural environment, which has long served as an alluring retreat for the world’s most discerning travellers,” said Donna McNamara, VP and global brand leader, the Ritz-Carlton.
Situated in Providenciales, the resort has a total of 147 ocean-view rooms, including 23 suites, and five three-story penthouse suites. It also includes a casino and 20,000 sq ft of meeting space, including a 4,900 sq ft ballroom.
The property offers a range of dining options, such as Coralli, for fresh seafood entrees and locally sourced produce, and steakhouse BLT Steak. The resort is also equipped with an adults only pool with private cabanas and a recreation pool, and a spa.
